**Last year, our exhibitors served a staggering 14,000 cups of coffee at their stands, all supplied by us. We could have taken the easy route and stocked up at a wholesale supplier. But we didn’t. As heavy consumers of the black gold, we like to take full responsibility for what ends up in our clients' cups. Here’s how.**
When you let KOP handle your coffee, you never have to worry about running out or serving a bad cup. We provide a complete package, ensuring top-quality coffee, no matter how many cups are poured.
For this, we partner with Barista Company, specialists in high-end coffee and professional machines. Want to take it up a notch? Their SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) intermediate-certified baristas ensure a flawless coffee experience. The taste is exceptional, and their values and approach align perfectly with ours. It's coffee with a story.
## **What makes the coffee special?**
Barista Company roasts its own beans in small batches in Amsterdam, ensuring unparalleled quality. On a scale from 0 to 100, their coffee always scores above 85—a level reached by only 3% of all coffee worldwide! Here’s why:
**Perfect Roast **– Not too light, avoiding excessive acidity for a balanced taste.
**Stable Flavor **– Even in a cappuccino, so you taste more than just warm milk.
**Ultimate Freshness** – Coffee is at its best from one week to a few months after roasting. Many supermarket coffees have a shelf life of two years, meaning you could be drinking coffee that was roasted over a year ago. Safe? Yes. Tasty? Not so much.
**Expert Preparation **– Even the best automatic machines can’t match the skill of a professional barista. And let’s be honest—a cappuccino with latte art just tastes better!
## **Finding the sweet spot **
Every coffee bean has a ‘sweet spot’. The exact settings where its flavor is at its peak. It takes precision: the right grind size, coffee dosage, and water temperature. Barista Company has mastered this process, ensuring every machine is calibrated to deliver consistently incredible coffee.
## **Leftover Coffee? Nothing is wasted.**
Coffee that isn’t used at the trade show never goes to waste. Barista Company donates all leftover coffee to the Maarssen food bank, where it’s ground, packed into small bags, and given to people who truly need it.
