A better world. For ourselves, and future generations. We believe trade shows should be more sustainable. That’s why we don’t sit and wait, but instead are taking the lead. We want to change the industry by being an example. We’re increasingly driving electric, and the solar panels on our roof provide us with energy. Besides this, we’re using sustainable materials in our exhibition stands. We integrate sustainability into our entire work process. Because sustainability is a main priority.
We know: we’re not working in the world’s most sustainable industry. But we can do our best to operate as consciously and sustainably as possible. We do this within our own work process, but also by advising our customers how to choose a more sustainable exhibition stand. This is how:
An example of sustainable material use are our jeans panels. Creative and usable in various ways. We use them as; acoustic damping, wall covering and for decoration.
Read moreWe regularly use OSB, poplar wood and bamboo. They all comply with international quality marks, which are supported by governments, companies, and environmental organizations. Working this way, we work with wood that tells a positive story.
Read morePlants regularly return after an exhibition. Most companies throw them away. We always look for a new home for them. For example, by taking them to a nursing home. This way, we can make people happy with some greenery in their homes.
Read moreWe use Airtex prints in our stands. Each print is specifically made for the event, and most of them are not recycled or re-used afterwards. What a waste! That's why we offer the possibility to turn the prints into bags after the exhibition. Nice to hand out after the event to colleagues, trade show visitors or customers.

Online meetings are great! Nevertheless, our account and project managers are spending quite some time on the road. The good thing is: they are driving our electric KOP cars. That’s how we decrease our footprint as much as possible. Are two customers exhibiting at the same show? We puzzle until everything fits in the truck.
In the spring of 2023, we decided to stack up our roof with 240 solar panels. A lot of work, but it also yields a lot. 88,633 kWh per year!
With that much energy you can easily drive 14 laps around the earth with one of our electric cars. By installing these solar panels, we can work even more sustainable. This way we’re taking another step towards a more sustainable world.
Consciously dealing with the environment starts with yourself. At KOP, we prioritize sustainability in our work environment. We do this, for example, by storing materials after an exhibition. Instead of throwing it away, we re-use. By doing so, we make sure that walls, floors, cupboards and tables are never used only once. In addition, we save useful waste which is collected by a workshop runned by people with disabilities, who are creating the most beautiful works of art from it.
