Coffee with character, tea with a story—that’s what J.J. Darboven is all about. What started as a family business in Hamburg has grown into a leading name across 10+ European countries. In the Netherlands, a passionate team of 30 supplies the hospitality industry, retail, and wholesalers with top-quality coffee, tea, and cocoa.
But J.J. Darboven is more than just great products. They offer barista training, top-tier coffee machines, and innovative collaborations with brands like Vandemoortele Pastry, Lattiz, and Hooghoudt. Sustainability is key too—with their Shade Tree Project, they support coffee farmers in Peru and Honduras, helping build a better future for both the farmers and their communities.
J.J. Darboven is a regular at Horecava, connecting with hotels, restaurants, and facility professionals. Because when it comes to great coffee and tea, it’s not just about seeing—it’s about experiencing. That’s why we designed a stand that invited visitors to taste Darboven’s products firsthand. At the heart of the stand was a large U-shaped bar, where Darboven’s own baristas welcomed guests and immersed them in the world of coffee, tea, and cocoa.
The stand was designed with a strong focus on sustainability and reuse. To highlight the eco-friendly nature of J.J. Darboven’s products, we used materials like untreated wood for a natural look. The brand’s sustainable Shade Tree Project took center stage, while a large screen shared the story behind the products. This way, visitors didn’t just experience Darboven’s offerings—they also connected with the values and vision behind them.
