From "grey" to "green" installations; that was the theme of Belimo during VSK 2024. Through a sustainable "forest," Belimo showcased that greening is a key focus.
"We're helping people see the forest through the trees again."
Belimo shifted the focus to distinctive support services rather than solely on products. By highlighting services such as training, PreFIX (custom-made products), and RetroFIT+ (providing technical advice for upgrading old locations), Belimo demonstrated that they offer a comprehensive package at VSK.
The idea of the sustainable "forest" comes from the RetroFIT+ program, where they assist clients in transforming "grey" HVAC installations into "green" climate systems without significant modifications or high costs. Belimo provides technical advice to help clarify regulations and compliance issues.
This led to the design of trees made of 100% recyclable Beelite cardboard and Deco NEXT made of 100% recycled PET "clouds" (due to Belimo's Cloud-Based Products). The green touch of plants added emphasis on our commitment to nature. As a result, Belimo created a sustainable meeting place for relationships, innovations, and information right in the midst of the forest.
Belimo's booth was easily recognizable to visitors. The forest towered above other booths and stood out immediately in the hall. Visitors were extremely enthusiastic about the booth design. Consequently, the booth design went home with the prize: the most attractive booth at the VSK!
Belimo is the global market leader in the development, production, and sale of field equipment for energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Simply put, they aim to build valve actuators, control valves, and sensors that solve challenges for comfort and energy. Topics such as energy efficiency, digitalization, sustainability, circularity, safety, labor market, a healthy indoor climate in buildings, and education are important pillars for Belimo.
As a market leader, Belimo feels obligated to transfer knowledge to the emerging generation. By inviting students from the ROC van Twente to visit Belimo's knowledge center, they are introduced to the latest specialized innovations using the train-the-trainer concept. This bridges the gap between theory and the job market.
