During the Techni-Show, van Ommen mainly focuses on their premium tools brand 'Phantom', and especially on the launch of the Phantom Challenge. To celebrate the lauch, van Ommen brought a spectacular race simulator to the exhibition. The open and easily accessible stand provided plenty of room for product presentation and relationship management.
The race simulator clearly attracted the attention of exhibition visitors: people were standing in line to try out the simulator. Van Ommen's employees took their chance to get into conversation with the waiting visitors. Besides the simulator, the setup of the stand was kept quite simplistic ; a seating area was created so that the stand crew could held convesations in a comfortable setting and there were some screens for (product) presentations.
Van Ommen is an internationally operating machining specialist focused on technical wholesalers. The family business markets three brands; Phantom, Torax and International Tools. Up until now, brand exposure was mainly the responsibility intermediaries, but van Ommen is aiming to expand their brand awareness even further. This is the objective of their trade show participations.
