With **The Terrace**, they bring high end visuals outdoors: a TV designed for real outdoor living, featuring an anti reflection layer, high brightness, and a weather resistant housing. ## “With The Terrace, you bring visuals, sound, and experience straight into the garden. Rain or shine.” Amy Vloet - Marketing Communication AVD NL ![KOP - MASTERS EXPO 2025 - SAMSUNG-THE-TERRACE-3](https://5918819.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5918819/KOP%20-%20MASTERS%20EXPO%202025%20-%20SAMSUNG-THE-TERRACE-3.jpg) ## The challenge On a trade show floor, people need to understand at a glance what makes a product special. An “outdoor TV” sounds logical… until you start wondering: does it really work when the weather changes? Especially in the Netherlands, where sunshine and rain can appear within the same fifteen minutes. That is why Samsung was not looking for a standard display, but for a statement that would instantly prove the point. The idea KOP developed a display in which **The Terrace literally stands in circulating water.** Not as a gimmick, but as a crystal clear translation of the promise: **this TV keeps performing outdoors**, even in moisture, **sunlight,** and **challenging lighting conditions**. Water surrounding the screen equals the story without explanation. You see it, you believe it.   ## Our approach We translated the product USPs into one powerful object on the stand: - **Display concept and design**: a premium presentation in line with Masters Expo, focused on calm, luxury, and attention to the product. - **Technical development**: a closed water system with continuous circulation, designed for reliability and trade show safety. - **Visual experience**: positioning and sightlines that allowed passers by to immediately experience the razor sharp image, especially under challenging lighting conditions, which is exactly what The Terrace is built for. ![KOP - MASTERS EXPO 2025 - SAMSUNG-THE-TERRACE-2-2](https://5918819.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/5918819/KOP%20-%20MASTERS%20EXPO%202025%20-%20SAMSUNG-THE-TERRACE-2-2.jpg) ## The result The TV became an **eye catching demonstration** piece with proof built in: a product demo that does not need explaining. Samsung was so enthusiastic about the execution that the display will be **used more often in the future.**   The Terrace in short - **High brightness + QLED**: visible, even on a sunny day. - **Anti reflection + adaptive brightness:** less **reflection**, more comfortable viewing. - **Weather resistant (IP56)**: built for outdoor use. - **Designed for outdoor conditions **such as temperature changes: made to support outdoor entertainment all year round.
